Loxiwe – Clam Gardens

The Indigenous-led work of loxiwe restoration and reintegration of Indigenous-led science and maricultural practices into coastal management policy and practice is a growing movement on the west coast, from Alaska to Vancouver Island and the mainland coast, and south into the United States. In this video, hear about the work being led by Nanwakolas member First Nations to restore clam gardens in their territories.
